“CRI” stands for Color Rendering Index. It is a measure of how accurately a light source displays colors in comparison to a natural light source, such as daylight.
The CRI value ranges from 0 to 100:
- A CRI of 100 represents perfect color accuracy, where colors appear as they would under natural sunlight.
- A higher CRI (e.g., above 80 or 90) indicates better color rendering and is preferred in applications like photography, art studios, or retail settings.
- Lower CRI values may cause colors to appear washed out or unnatural.
